Come visit our space and find a safe space. You can also see our therapists Katherine, Silvia, or Robert between 8am and 4pm on school days.

Launched September 2019…

Late August 2019, Newberg High School opened up 3 private therapy offices, a family/group therapy room, an education center, and a reception / lobby area named the Newberg High School Wellness Center. We are in the J-Building across from the Resource Room - a perfect location! By opening up this space, they created a space for the Community Wellness Collective to expand our presence and support more direct access to free community resources.

You can find Allexa, the Newberg High School and Catalyst Outreach Worker in the lobby Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3. If the door is locked, she will have her cell # (text her!) and info about her hours posted.

We have 3 Therapists on site - FREE to all students of Newberg Public Schools and Catalyst High School Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 - 5pm. Stop by on your breaks, lunch, or after school. You can schedule an appointment with our awesome secretary Miss Katie.

The Wellness Center team is excited to make the space open to our community partners, to student groups, peer to peer support, provide trainings and classes, and all around access to free community resources. Stay tuned for more info.

Thank you to Tony Buckner, Tami Erion, Mark Brown, and Luke Neff of Newberg Public Schools, Providence, Newberg Education Foundation, Shelly Costner, and the many volunteers for getting this space off the ground.

Thank you to the Austin Family Foundation for the grant funding that supports all of this work.
